Early Detection and Action
Everon’s advanced flame detection solutions improve system speed to action. Once triggered, flame detectors immediately connect to a fire protection and suppression system such as fire alarms, extinguishers, and sprinklers—and they can even shut down your gas and fuel lines.
Flame Detection Types
Flame detectors use ultraviolet, infrared, combined, or multi-spectrum sensors to detect radiation produced by a flame and can be directly connected to an alarm or automatic fire extinguishing system. Talk to Everon fire and life safety experts to determine which flame detection system is best for your facilities.
Everon can help you implement UV flame detectors that are triggered by UV radiation the moment a fire ignites. They are especially suitable for indoor facilities that could face chemical or metal fires. They offer precise detection within 0–50 feet, but are known to decrease in accuracy at any distance greater than that.
IR flame detectors are triggered when an internal thermal imaging device captures the heat patterns produced by fires. IR flame detectors are useful for detecting hard-to-see flames from non-carbon-based fires. They are well suited for protecting refineries, turbine enclosures, battery energy storage facilities, and more.
UV/IR flame detectors combine sensors for both UV and IR radiation and can help minimize false alarms. The two detectors operate separately to detect both signals.
MSIR flame detectors use many infrared wavelengths to detect fires and better distinguish between actual fires and other radiation sources—minimizing false alarms. They can quickly respond to fires within a distance of 200 feet and are functional in both indoor and outdoor environments.
A Holistic Approach to Fire Protection
Work with our fire, sprinkler, and life safety experts to design and implement an integrated fire protection system with the best infrastructure to meet your organization’s protection goals.
Linear Heat Detection
We can implement active linear heat detectors that provide cost-effective and comprehensive fire protection solutions across large areas or within harsh environments. Using long detector cables covered in heat-sensitive polymers that melt at critical thresholds, the system can detect dangerous temperatures and trigger an alarm based on changing conditions.
Thermal Imaging
Everon can help you select suitable high-resolution thermal imaging technologies that help you detect temperature anomalies in regions of interest (ROI), potentially before failures occur.
Gas Detection
Toxic, corrosive, or combustible gas leaks can impact human health and lead to dangerous fires and explosions. Everon offers a comprehensive suite of gas detection solutions that actively and continuously monitor the environment to detect gas before it can lead to dangerous situations.
